// FAQ

Where do the RFPs come from?

From the official publications: the EU's Tenders Electronic Daily (TED) and the national portals of France (BOAMP), Portugal (BASE), the Netherlands (TenderNed), Switzerland (simap.ch) and the United Kingdom (Find a Tender), read four times a day. Each RFP links to the original notice and documents; always read those before you bid.

Which countries does TenderDesk cover?

France, Germany, Italy, Spain, the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, Belgium, Switzerland, Portugal and Luxembourg: every public architecture tender and design competition they publish through TED or their national portal.

What does the score mean?

It estimates how much of a real architecture commission a notice is: competitions and design commissions for buildings and public space score high; supervision, surveys, maintenance, roads and works contracts score low. The reasons are shown on every RFP.

Can I get an alert when a new tender matches what we do?

Yes. Set an alert with the countries, building or project types (hospitals, schools, museums, housing…), budget and floor area you want. New matches appear in your notifications as they are published, and you get a summary by email every morning.

Is TenderDesk free?

Browsing the tenders is free. The team workspace, alerts and partner search are part of a subscription, with a free trial first.

Who can join?

TenderDesk is for architecture and engineering practices. There is one company profile per practice: the first colleague claims it with the company's VAT or registry number, which we check; colleagues with the same email domain then ask to join.

Who can see our files?

Only the people in that RFP's team: your firm, the partner firms you accepted and the guests you invited. Files are stored privately and downloaded through short-lived links. When you close the RFP, partners and guests lose access; your firm keeps the record.
